PRODUCTIONS
Almost Red Prod. is a production and distribution company based in Chengdu, China and Asturias, Spain. It was founded in 2011 by directors Roberto F. Canuto and Xu Xiaoxi.

Our main activity focuses on audiovisual production, both fiction and documentaries, and also commercials, reports, etc.

Among our productions we have accumulated more than 50 awards and 500 selections at international film festivals, being Sunken Plum our most awarded work, presented in more than 50 countries in the five continents.
Apart from own productions, we work in other projects, filming in China, Asia and Europe. We have a team of professionals in the Asian country to take care of the entire production and post-production process, as well as to obtain the necessary permits. We also carry out commissions for editing, post-production, sound mixing and promotional videos or trailers.
Film director and screenwriter from Chengdu, China. Graduated in Fine Arts at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in 2006, specialising in Video-art with his short film The Fluxus of ID. He completes in 2009 a Master in Filmmaking (MFA) at the New York Film Academy, at its headquarters in Universal Studios (Hollywood). He directed several shorts in celluloid and digital format and collaborates in many others as Director of Photography.
Spanish film director and screenwriter. He has worked in China for nearly a decade. He graduated in Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in the specialty of Audiovisual Communication. He moved to London dedicating himself to professions far from the world of cinema until in Los Angeles (CA) he resumed his passion by studying a Master's Degree in Film Directing at the New York Film Academy, at Universal Studios (Hollywood).
